WELCOME TO DITAinfo.info, an experimental site dedicated to exploring accessible, sophisticated, and relatively inexpensive solutions for content-rich websites.

The site was created and is maintained by Anna van Raaphorst and Dick Johnson, principals, VR Communications, Inc. We are specialists in web portal integration solutions that combine natively created and externally produced/repurposed content on CMSs like WordPress and Drupal.

The following demonstration sites illustrate the concept:

Dick's Web Portal Integration Scripts drive the integration process for these solutions and can be licensed by interested clients on a limited basis. The package includes:

  • A set of Python publishing scripts
  • Usage information (documentation) for the scripts
  • (For the DITA/Drupal and DITA/WordPress environments) A demonstration package that includes a fully functional sample with DITA source files and an Ant script that controls both DITA processing to the XHTML output target and the Drupal integration process

In the Drupal 7 environment, the Python integration scripts work in conjunction with the bulkpub module ( drupal.org/project/bulkpub ), also written and maintained by Dick.

As evangelists for these solutions, we offer FREE demonstrations, seminars, collaborative brainstorming sessions, general knowledge transfer, and proofs of concept to interested individuals and groups.

We also offer consulting help to clients as they design, plan, and implement similar solutions.
