WELCOME TO DITAinfo.info, a formal/informal information mashup, Drupal-based model website, and free XML/DITA resource featuring our 350-topic DITAinformationcenter.

This is an experimental site, dedicated to exploring accessible, sophisticated, and relatively inexpensive solutions for text-rich websites.

This site is an example of an information mashup: a DITA-based structured information collection combined with an informal, unstructured collection of related topics published on a single site.

The structured collections contain:

• Our DITAinformationcenter, with information about DITA and the DITA Open Toolkit
• Sample DITA files (garage and grocery shopping)
• The DITA Language Reference
• The DITA Architectural Specification

The unstructured collection contains related blogs and announcements produced informally using the native Drupal blog editor.

You can search the entire site (structured and unstructured information) in the search box.

You can both browse (by their tables of contents) and search (that is, query, by their metadata tags) the structured collections as separate entities.
